Who Am I? Let Me Introduce Myself

My name is Zarina and I’m the founder of Laptop Lifestyle Beauty website.

(I truly enjoy the beauty of living a laptop lifestyle, hence the name!)

My quick story:

During the years of 2011-2015, I was a Law & Society student at York University in Toronto, getting very good grades and thinking I’d go to Law School after.

During the summers I also travelled as a language student and I realized, this is my passion – travelling and learning foreign languages.

I didn’t want to be a lawyer.

My parents did!

While I love my parents very much and they mean well for me, I realized that I should listen to MY heart if I don’t want to live an unhappy life, doing the things that I hate. 

So…

I started exploring online opportunities.

• In 2014, I started my online journey as a freelancer.
• In 2015, I decided to take a step up and learn how to create an online business.
• In 2018, after healing a bit from the surgery, I finally built a money-making website.

Side note:

In 2017 I had serious orthopaedic surgeries and couldn’t walk for MONTHS and working on my websites is what helped me ward away depression.

(Not to mention that I had income coming in while I was in another country).

Point is…

I listened to my heart.

I ignored everyone else telling me to forget it. I found the right mentors, the right training and put in my time and energy into building a successful website.

So, how is it possible to make money online as a blogger/website owner?

There are many ways to make money online but in a nutshell, as a blogger I provide information that people are searching for on the internet.

You decide that photography is what excites you and this is what you want to write about. Most likely you go with a more specific niche like “portrait photography” or “drone cameras”.
